About
Rajiv Nagaich is a premier Northwest elder law and estate planning attorney. Rajiv is an expert on Medicare, Medicaid, Nursing Homes and Long Term care issues whose practice specializes in the legal, financial & health care issues we all face today. He is committed to helping you deal with both the blessing & challenges of longevity.
A native of India, Rajiv grew up amid a large extended family support system. After moving to the U.S. and marrying Jamie, a Spokane native, Rajiv helped care for both of Jamie’s parents in their old age and gained firsthand knowledge of the inadequacies of the American approach to elder care. “We cared for Bill, Jamie’s dad, who lived in a skilled nursing facility,” says Rajiv, who adds that the challenges they faced provided the tools and experience he needed to do things differently when Jamie’s mom grew too ill to care for herself. “We were able to get Vivian the right in-home help,” recalls Rajiv, “and she lived with us for eleven years before her passing.”
The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International named Rajiv "PAUL HARRIS FELLOW" in appreciation of tangible and significant assistance given for the furtherance of better understanding and friendly relations among people of world.
